Ruby Paw
 
 
Ruby is a red miniature dachshund that is the ultimate urban dog.  When he is not adoring his mom he can be found escorting her to local Milwaukee scenes like Jazz in the Park, Harley Fest and many of the local Milwaukee Dog Parks or events. Ruby especially likes the attention he gets from the ladies in the cafe crowd at the outdoor hotspots.  He has been known stare a lady or two down at outdoor concerts until he gets a belly rub.
 
Ruby is a Certified Therapy Dog and accompanies his mom, who is an occupational therapist help their patients at one of the local hospitals. He brings alot of joy to many of the older patients and helps them through pet therapy as they pet him or walk with him and work out some muscular issues post- stroke. 
 
 
 
 
 

 

 

Soho Paw

 

 

Soho is a chocolate and tan miniature dachshund.  She loves making entrances into a room or a dogpark.  She loves to introduce herself to everyone around.  She also loves to spend time riding in the Jeep with her dad in super comfy car snoozer booster seat so she can see out the window.

 

Soho takes her watchdog responsibilities seriously as she watches the neighborhood from her perch from atop the back of the couch.  Anyone not respecting her will be barked at.

 

 

 

 

 

 

With our experiences in having Ruby and Soho in our lives it is clear that pets can make a difference in people's lives.  Whether its watching them explore or having them cuddle under the blankets at your feet.  While all dog's temperments are different, we have found these two to be great with babies, kids and adults. 

 

We believe it was due to early socialization and responsible training. So take your dogs with you if you can.  They just want to be with you anyway. Ruby and Soho love going anywhere;  whether its a picnic, a simple walk or hanging at the marina on a boat. The like to be social and our friends love them too.

 

It's no wonder Dachshunds are one of the top ten most popular dog breeds as reported by the American Kennel Club.  They certainly have definitive personalities.

 

Ruby and Soho are cousins and great friends. Since Ruby is a couple years older we picked Soho's name from the punk band Rancid song,  Ruby Soho on their 1995 album, "And Out Come the Wolves."
